Bermi Run 6-7th Jan: Report

Got up to Bermi over the weekend for a run on the Marlin.
Unfortunately we had a combination of 25 knot winds all weekend with a nice and short 2m swell, along with the water rolling over.
We trolled for 2 days and raised only 1 fish, for no bites.
Oh well. The boat got a good flogging, and damn I am impressed with how it handles the rough weather. To put it in perspective, we were the only trailer boat that went offshore for the entire weekend out of Bermi. It was us and a 50' Carribean and that was it. :thumbsup:
Too bad the fish didn't want to play!
I'll have to wait until the Bluewater comp over the australia day weekend to christen the boat with a beaky!
