To kick it off..
As a first post on this section..I`ve just had a new 9` salmon rod built, the build quality is very impressive. If anyone wants his number, PM me..

Where'd ya get it done mate? A bloke I used to know in safety beach did them, and god they were incredible rods!

So what attributes of a rod are you after that turns you to having one custom made? Obviously you were after something that can't be found of the shelf?
Also, I think you should try your new salmon rod in a family fishing lake, therefore you can 'kick that section off' as well!!

Will need to test it out next time we hit the surf! Sure it will cast a mile and feel good to use
