They were ok. But too small and mainly bones.

Yeah, apparently the larger Tilapia you can get up north are quite tasty

No. Unfortunately I didn't. :( but I dont know how tough they are. After gutting and cleaning them, they were still flapping around on the table for a good 15 to 20 minutes of more.

Guys don't think about catching them for your fish tank at home. It's illegal to translocate live fish without a permit from fisheries regardless of if they're listed as noxious or not. The rule is the same for every waterway and species. You can't legally catch Salmon at inverloch and take them live to corinella for use as live baits.
