Re: Mornington Boat Hire Specials
Yeah used them twice this year but their fish finders are a bit dodgy.
You should be good with the snapper firing up now if you go in the morning and head out near the mussell farm or a couple of other deeper spots (if the finder works).
They usually make you walk in the water to get into the boat (which in winter sucked), but if you ask them not to they can have you hop on from next to the pier.
Paul seems nice to chat to on the phone, unfortunately every time I've gone there are some youngstas running the place, so I've only spoken to him but never met him.
The young blokes are friendly and helpful but could do with a bit more maturing/customer skills.

Have you mentioned any of this to Paul. I'm sure he would love the feedback.FishnMiss wrote:Yeah used them twice this year but their fish finders are a bit dodgy.

No. Having never met him I'm not sure what he's like to receive comments.Brett wrote:Have you mentioned any of this to Paul. I'm sure he would love the feedback.FishnMiss wrote:Yeah used them twice this year but their fish finders are a bit dodgy.

Anyway I don't plan on doing a hire again (Last one I did with them was September as my daughter wanted to do something for me for fathers day).
