Penn 460 Slammer

Post by robbo101 » Tue Jun 17, 2014 6:46 pm

Got myself a Penn 460 slammer the other week, super impressed so far. Its built like a tank! If I don't have anything to disposed of the carp I'm sure I could use it to put them to sleep and it would never break! Does anyone else have one?

I recently bought two 560 live liners. Haven't used them as yet, but first impressions are very good.

Love these reels. I use 360s as my snapper reels. The larger 460s and 560s for the surf. Runs braid ok as well unlike the spin fishers

I also have 2 x 850 spin fishers and the braid loading on the spool is ok on mine, strange you say they don't run braid ok ? been on mine for 3 years now with no problems.
