my new toys just in time for snapper season

Post by smile0784 » Sun Sep 18, 2016 4:02 am

hi
i had a bit left of my bcf card so thought i treat my self and would go buy a few things ready for snapper season.

first was Lowrance Hook 7 Combo to help find some snappers since i sucked last 2 years lol
http://www.bcf.com.au/Product/Lowrance- ... etargeting

second was Shimano Raider Spin Rod 2 to 5kg with a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ Spin Reel for squiding and bait catching.

third was a Rogue mesh Landing Net

hope this helps this year.
good luck to all and safe travels

nice one, if you cant see them on that, then they arent there. Haha. TBH, you will be able to knock snapper over on that combo too.

I thing the "push button " one will be as hard to use at 20 knots?....
My understanding is that it have a 3 way transducer so more flexible?

So the Hook 7 will do as good ...but no touch sceen?
I see they still sale the Elite 7 wich i believe is exactly the same as the Hook 7 witch have been rebranded, and it is about $100 cheaper?
