im just after a shorter model.

But when you have rookie deckies like my cousins fishing with you, you will need all the help you can get
It was implied when you asked if they had a shorter version of a telescopic net. I get what you are after now
yeah fair call could be misleading..
i have a good net, but its a trout one and not enough reach. its nice and light good opening and mesh depth, just short on reach.
the trebles get stuck in the mesh, and if squidding the slime sticks to the mesh unlike the bigger silicone mesh ones but it isnt as bad, just wanting something similar thats not heavy and has a bit more reach.
as soon as you go longer and have a silicone mesh its getting too heavy for me, ill do whatever it takes to make my fishing more comfortable so im still looking.
I've got a Mcleans net. You can get them in a long handle version with a rubber net which is nice and deep. Pretty much the bee's testicles when it comes to nets.

Nice and light as well for your fragile wrists ;)
