This was a nice surprise for me when I got home from hospital this afternoon.. A box of goodies arrived..
Yes, I'm going to give the switchblades a go on the trout down here, I picked out the colours that I thought would get the trouts attention.

TT switch blade for trout? I'm intrigued.
They're pretty heavy, I assumed they're for deep water. But who knows.

Thanks Bill, I feel they'll do well on the trout too.. & yes Pam in an Angel for sure..

Seb, these are small light weight blades, the Ghost blades only weigh 2.5 grams as they're graphite.. where as the Switchblades are 3.5 grams.
so I think they'll be okay in the Meander & Mersey Rivers..

New rod and reel arrived today really happy with both fishing tackle shop and fastway with how little time i had to wait since i ordered saterday, it looks to have been packed sunday (the site showed it ready to ship sunday) and shipped monday and now here wensday with 1 day of travel from nsw and only a few hours from the time it was in the van to my place today.

Rod rovex specialist squid rod 7.6 foot

Reel rovex endurance 2000 because keep it as one brand if i have warrenty claims its only one place to contact. Now to buy more line for the reel.
