Was gonna get a cheapy to dump at a location to use. But didn't have any luck finding a cheap yak so decided a float tube was a better use of the extra coin than a shitty SOT

I'll end up with a pedal yak as there's plenty of places that are yakkable that wouldn't suit due to currents etc.

Very keen to see how it handles current though..

how would something like this go if the wind picked up slightly? I assume it's mainly for small creeks?

I think they are perfect for small to medium lakes and other water ways that aren't really affected by tide or currents. Time will tell.

looks convenient, I'd just be mindful of wind (being an inflatable) and snakes (have seen clips of kayakers bumping into brown snakes in middle of lakes perched up on protruding logs
