that lure tray may i ask the model an make an price it cost you ?
as i use treble covers an always stab myself removing them, that seems like a better option

It's a Plano 3714 flipsider tray with the hot butter knife mod. Can't remember how much they were because I don't think I even paid for them.

Plano don't make the shallower models anymore though

i don't know the exact model, but the ackleshop in mornington had a few the last time i was there. not the tacleworld, the other one on nepean

A pic of some lures I have on 'standby' to use in the fresh, main target trout but reddies and yellas as well.

Here is a few lures I keep packed and take on the boat when needed I try not to carry everything although all my soft plastics live on the boat in flip lock containers

Short answer yes I have several lures in pairs just in case you lose one to a fish.
