Thanks Earl, it was one of the drones that I was most interested in for filming sounds like it might fit the bill pretty wellFish-cador wrote:The mavic is my brother's but i paid about 1/3 of the purchase price. It is the "fly more" combo. Very nice drone. Folds to a size less than half a loaf of bread. Set it to follow me mode and let it film your gunna spin fishing from the air. Very stable for video filming. Still shots are not so great.mazman wrote:Is the DJI mavic pro yours as well earl? I'm looking at getting a drone in the next year or so and interested to hear thoughts on it for filming

I just realized more expenses will come after this. I now need to buy big reels so I can send bait far out. I now need to travel far to access good ledges. oh crap!

Nicee. I also got myself a jigging rod from veritas. They are certainly very flimsy for their size.Hosery wrote:New rod I've been itching to get 1 for a while. Bcf had 20% off so it was time. Ended up getting a 6"2 Abu veritas jig stick. Now just waiting on my reel to come in! :water:
What size reel are you getting.

Nice one mate  I'm not into the boat stuff ie I don't have a boat but a mate recently bought a HDS9 I nearly cried when he told me the price Is there that much difference between the 9ti and the HDS9 just curios as it seems like a lot of money for the HDS.purple5ive wrote:Upgrade from 7ti to the 9ti. Putting a shimano sustain 5000 on it. Put it to the test once the big reds show up. :banana:purple5ive wrote:Nicee. I also got myself a jigging rod from veritas. Burnt another $100 for memory unit and $270 for extra batteries. I quickly ran out of battery during the test flight today. :-(purple5ive wrote:

Not as bad as the HDS units mate, i believe its about 400 bucks between the 7 and 9 inch unit models, the 12 inch model jumps up in price quite a bit.Marty.A wrote:Nice one mate  I'm not into the boat stuff ie I don't have a boat but a mate recently bought a HDS9 I nearly cried when he told me the price Is there that much difference between the 9ti and the HDS9 just curios as it seems like a lot of money for the HDS.purple5ive wrote:Upgrade from 7ti to the 9ti.
