Your gear is good for sharks
Only thing is use 100lb trace or wire covered in plastic/ nylon

Upside leader to minimum 120lb with circles or run wire leaders. You're still relying on luck running any mono even with a perfect corner hookup. If it turns and the line slips under the nose it's curtains. If you're dead serious in the toothies then I'd be running 2 x 15kg outfits with wire and berleying hard on a bank somewhere with large baits. Take wire cutters for the stingray bycatch though.

Plenty of small hammerheads, Bronzies, Schoolies and gillers of all sizes kicking around the bay at the minute.
