Snapper time
Finally managed to get a few mates out on Saturday to catch their first snapper. After a night in the swags and 4.15am launch to beat the queues at the ramp we found them all before dawn and then they turned off just after the sun came up. 4 fish, smallest was 47cm, largest 78cm.
Their smiles say it all, and to top it off we won the meat tray raffle at the pub. Needless to say that after a feed of snapper there were a few snags still in the esky. The snapper wings in a splash of teriyaki sauce then bbqed were the big hit. Bloody delicious.

Re: Snapper time
Good work guys, :nicefish: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
