Elizabeth island
Just before high tide off Elizabeth island several small gummies then a big hit distinctive head shakes and a 63cm snapper comes to the boat, after this fish it went very quite only one for the day.

The old secret elizibeth island spot is allways good for a snapper
you gotta hav a crack even if yr just pissin in the wind

Spent all day wishing I was fishing, what a great day for it, and even better coming home with a red!

My mate who lives on the island has been catching fish like this all winter not lots but 1 or 2 a day

Poodoo, they should start spreading out from their winter haunts in the coming weeks. New fish will join roughly same time. Few more days like today and if you jag the bite time right, you'll bag your 3 within 15 minutes. Really depends on tides this time of year
