Tooradin 8/11

Post by dezza68 » Sat Nov 08, 2014 8:30 pm

Took my 9 year old down to Tooradin creek for a quick session. Used squid for bait and started getting a few bites but no hookups. After half an hour a school of salmon moved in and it was a fish a cast. All in the 200 to 350 gram bracket, fantastic fun on light gear. Had 6 each before they left. Fished on for an hour but just toads and then the wind got up. All fish just after low water.

Good work mate, chicken on a little hook with a bit of burley and you can't miss on the mullet there!

Thanks am just trying to take him to places where he gets plenty of bites. His first fish was a 3kg banjo so he thinks this fishing lark is easy. Took me 10 years to catch something that big☺
