Corinella Pier Monday Night 22/09/2014

Post by wishing4fishing » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:30 pm

Hi all how are we?
Weather was fantastic last night so decided last minute to go wet a line.
After contemplating on where to go and checking tides, I decided to head down to Corinella pier.
A favourite old spot of mine where i have had some decent results in the past, but i know it can be a bit hit and miss.
High tide was at 11.30pm, got here at 9, threw in the berley bucket and by the time i set up and cast out it was 9.30.
Was using a variety of bait, had a few lures and squid jigs. Had some small nibbles but nothing major, may have been toadies.
After high tide when the tide turned to head out, the weeds appeared. SNAG AFTER SNAG AFTER SNAG Bangg
All and all was a beautiful night was great to get out but would of been better to take home a feed.
Better luck next time.

Happy Fishing.
