Sunday Morning looks ideal

Post by DougieK » Wed May 21, 2014 12:39 pm

Low swell, North wind, Hightide at 8.30am.

Going to have a conversation with LadyK to consider putting us on the beach at sunup.

I'd suggest anyone keen on a surf spin session consider the 90 mins either side of this high tide.

This post was in reference to Gunnamatta but if LadyK decides to come with the dog we might go down to Kilcunda instead.

No donuts!

Managed one and dropped another at my feet... Probably a bit too much whitewater around n I was maybe undergunned with only a 40grammer...

That said, I was thoroughly impressed with the Catana / Sedona combo, great range on casting, be interesting to throw a 45/50g slug on.

Bloke bait fishing next to me pulled in 3 in too. All around that 500gram size. All fish taken literally on sunset

Great fun.
