Nah I was bait soaking. We'll not really soaking much as, as soon as the bait hit the water they were biting. Didn't even have time to throw a 2nd rod in.
I haven't got into spinning yet.

I want either some Salmon or a Shark, not a surfer, child, or idiot who decides standing behind me while i'm casting is a good idea.

I'm done with trying to fish public holidays I think.
What beach were you at dougie, I took a look at gunners and left then found a nice gutter at portsea with less people.

We were at Gunnamatta, I'll keep Portsea in mind if it happens again.

BigJ, are you the big guy I talked to with some nice fish in the bucket? I was the one spinning.

209km return trip for only 1 thumb size cala caught in Rye pier on the way back. I was planning to stay late and soak something big for gummy but I did not even catch a bait. Bangg
Did you not even have any hits or follows FC? Bad luck mate
what hit? how does that feel? If hitting a submerged rock and losing my shiny gillies is a hit, yes I had one big hit. It was massive and heavy I a lost half of my braid. :doh1: :bat:
