Sat session

Post by FishHunter81 » Thu Jun 21, 2018 7:49 pm

Thinking of hitting gunnas sat morning. Wind is NW early then it changes to WNW about 8am. Is this wind good for here? Last time on sw I could hardly cast out past the wash.

NW ain't great, especially if there is more west than north in it. Pretty much straight cross shore at 13-15kts it probably won't be nice.

Went to gunnas this morning early. Flicked a slug in the dark until it became light and I could see properly. Conditions were OK as light approached. Then baited up with blue popper and pilchards and managed 3 in a few mins inc a double hook up. A guy flicked one next to me and was nice to give that to me. A few people catching them along towards cape schank. Tide was coming and a few fell over scrambling for their gear. Left about 930 as went quiet.
