Great catch mate congrats again
Was great to be out there with the crew on a perfect morning. Happy to say I am a salmon virgin no more.
Not big but great fun and was a nice feed for lunch

Wow I was smack bang on the weight...2.4kg to 2.5kg. Nice work Jim.

I gave away the fish because it's a pain to drag them all the way from the schank. :rofl: Went to lagoon pier at 4PM, fished for 1 hour and landed 6 bay trout, Gave them all to Peter.

No fishing for me until June 17th. Heading overseas... :down:

Thanks all. Bayrock, congrats on your first Salmon...Dazz, no leader...lure tied to my 20lb finns braid with a touch of drag...Mingle, yes your right...for best eating bleed your Salmon...for bait or pet food no need to bleed....again cheers to you all..it was a ripper morning for a fish...
