Went down there today for a few hours. Bumped in to Carl and spoke with a few others fishos....not many fish about. I didn't see any but a couple of old blokes caught a couple
of medium sized models on bait much earlier in the day. Didn't see any landed in the time I was there

Fair bit of weed, sandy white water and side wash. Top of the tide had some waves washing almost to the back of the beach...water needs to calm down a bit.

Correct. Willyweather has first light at 6.55am and they are usually late by 25 or so minutes. A 6.30 arrival should see you on the sand at the right time.

I've picked a few up into darkness at night but haven't caught any prior to first light down there, on tuesday the first fish hit the sand at around 6:45

If you cast towards queenscliff from the back beaches you will not catch a single salmon. :rofl:

Depends if the moon is behind him or not.

And if Venus is in Uranus, you'll definitely catch something.

I can accept Venus being there but never Jupiter, Mars nor Pluto.

Yeah, damn Pluto amd it's outsider 'planetoid' status..just who does it think it is.?

Nearly had a Pluto in Uranus experience, but that's a story for around the campfire
