I have no idea. I don't really fish with bait there so I'm the wrong guy to ask.

Definitely too early in the year to be fishing for these mythical salmon......
Not a fan of the sarcasm...especially when aimed at other members. Have likely done it myself at times and don't realise how annoying it is until I read it. I have gone fishing before and commented that there can't be any fish left in the particular river system cos I never caught anything. I never meant it. Who cares what Wolly said...have your say on his thread and leave it at that. This is turning into the 'Werribee fishing is poor thread' scenario which then lead to constant jibes. I was going to start a thread, 'Gunnamatta...who gives a f**k'! Apart from some jibes at people, (that's the way I see it) this thread would have made a great report Doug.
cheers

Wolly has been around for long enough to know i'm taking the ****. I'm not convinced that his post isn't a very subtle sarcasm in the first place.

If someone is going to make an absolute statement that is blatantly false I'm going to call them out then make fun of them. This one got me going more so than Wolly's statement, as which beach is the premiere salmon location is actually debatable, I think it's Gunnamatta and I challenge anyone to supply evidence to the contrary.
