The Gunn 2-1-'15 evening fish 50cm.
Hi all and happy new year. Had a fish at the Gunn late afternoon with the wife who came along to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. The aim was to get a salmon for Hunter (our cat) as it was his 4th birthday :lolf: while the wife relaxed on the sand I spent about 2 hours or so fishing with the Gurus Carl and Adam along with Keith. Between us one big fat salmon around 50cm towards the far left rocks. At least Hunter was going to get his feast of fresh fish. Water was so cooling and refreshing and as the evening wore on the breeze cooled making it a ripper night. Left at 9pm and headed to Rye pub for some drinks with the wife's cousins who were waiting for us. All in all had a great day out away from the Melbourne heat.
** Even though Carl probably won't, I declare the salmon run at the Gunn closed. :lolf:

Carl now holds the titles "the salmon guru" and "the salmon whisperer ". When i joined carl and adam on the same hole they already landed 2 each. Adam and i landed 2 more each.....carl pulled 5 more from the same hole. :doh1:
