good work FC, everyone is making me super keen to get myself down there and get my self some salmon but its just to far!

Yup, that's what I use..reckon the one I've got on at the minute has caught over 70 fish..plus the ones I've lost lol...might be time to change it.....

I have been using these for quite a while now (mostly in Southern NSW). They are designed for targeting jumping fish that tend to throw hooks and at 45 grams they cast like a bullet!

Might be worth a look.

Yeah, Brett and Ads both use 'em...I'd be happier if they had a 50gram version..

5 more grams? You could always put a small ball sinker between the hook and lure?
