Hi all just a quick live post at the Gun surf beach. First 10 casts 7 big fat salmon 200 metres left of the steps. Gone quiet now will move further along and see if I bump into CArL. Cheers for now

Met up with Carl back around 200 metres from the steps and the salmon were on again off again on again for the next hour. All in all my best ever lure session taking home 17 fish and Carl bagging out his 20. We sure impressed all the surfers walking past as they could see salmon lying all over the sand. I think all other fishos there were bait soakers, we the only ones using lures...thanks for your company this morning Carl, it was one hell of a show.

How freaking good is it when there's literally salmon flying through the air around you?
