Donuts for me, LP got one and Raulio practiced his long distance catch and release skills.

Dissappointing morning but good to meet some new folks and talk rubbish.

Swell was higher than expected and there was quite a bit of sand in the water.

Definitely more swell than expected... And not that I needed reminding of the dangers that Gunna possesses but that knee high rogue that almost castled me, certainly woke me up.

Great conditions. Fish were sparse. Fisherman aplenty though. Maybe 20/25 fishos in the three larger gutters?

Yep, busy morning. None as keen as Dougie though, first on the beach.

All bait fishos except me, dougie and raul. There was a bloke using something similar to a tv aerial but he doesn't really count.

7 foot 2-4kg spin rod standing knee deep in chest waders in the deepest hole on the beach.....asking to get killed in my opinion.

So many people wearing waders in the surf. Asking for trouble imo. Imagine getting dragged into a rip in waders. Scary stuff
