Hey guys, im looking to head down tomorrow, normally im one of the guys soaking bait but i want to gives metals a crack. Any basic advice?? Also any tips?? How many casts should i do before moving on? Thanks guys

How many can you cast in 10min that's how long I give an area then I move on. Cast as far as you can then crank it back repeat repeat repeat.
9ft rod 4000 reel or similar 40-50g slug

Time you going? Happy to show you if it's in the morning... 6.45-10ish.

Otherwise aim to have 15-20 casts per hole making sure you cover the whole are if poss. I prefer to work the edges towards the whiter water. Bit more structure, usually more fish. 40/50gram lures. Gillies cheapest n probably just about the best.

Ill aim to get there for about 7am.

Im not sure if my rod will be long enough but it should work ok. And the little sienna 4000 reel should smash them to bits. Hopefully my limited lures will do the trick time will tell i guess

No snags there mate so you want lose any to them but your knots better be good because that's what will cause you to lose your tackle
