Post by davidsim » Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:56 pm

Thinking of going to gunnamatta on Wednesday but looking like strong north winds.
Just wondering if gunnamatta is fishable in this type of weather

Swell is up a bit, use heavy lures or bait. If it's crowded near the carpark walk toward the lighthouse.

Park up in front of the toilet block at the second carpark, follow the track to the left of the toilet block, that leads between it and the lifesaving club. This leads up over the dunes and down to the ramp, take care if your going in the dark as the end of the ramp is missing, keep to the left as you follow it down, it is fairly steep, but easily manageable..
