Post by A-a-ron » Tue Mar 26, 2019 8:16 pm

Hey everyone, heading to Killarney for a camping weekend away early April, never been down that way so just wondering what sort of fishing is about down that way and if anyone had any tips that will get me into some bites of whatever’s around. Cheers. :water:

There’s usually some salmon about, there’s also a weed beds within casting distance. You should be able to find some squid there. Always in with a chance for a gummy.

I was fishing that beach once and was treated to a whale and her calf just lounging about in the shallows. Was a special moment. Have fun!
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Awesome, hopefully see some bird activity in casting distance or some decent gutters I can throw a few lines at. I’ll check out google maps for the weed bed, cheers for all the tips. Hopefully get into something.
