King george whiting in the bay

Does any one know the best time of year to catch king george inside the peir? Ive caught a ton load of grass whiting and wrasse (damn them!) but looking for the prized catch 8-)

I think Whiting are more prolific in the warmer months from December through to April....

ive seen many older gents fish for whiting off the rocks and sometimes they get the occasional pinkie lol
