Lorne Pier Salmon

Post by bigone22 » Mon Jan 19, 2015 11:15 am

Just a quick report on the sambo session @ lorne this morning :-D epic is all I can say. salmon schools everywhere hooked 10 on SP and dropped 5 of them. Also saw a MASSIVE kingfish probably 15 kilo at least without a word of a lie just cruising round the end of the pier. the old guy next to me nearly had a heart attack in surprise. :-o :-o salmon were between 1-3kg and the 5 I dropped were probably least 2.5-3kg. awesome fun though and lucky the seal wasn't there this time.
cheers

@ trevking yep made up for the doughnuts ive had the last three trips....absolutely they stay on the hook for about 3.2 seconds! they should go good 2night with a few coldys. :dinner: :Bar:
