Rick, you've really gotta try eating a reddie if you've never done so before. In my opinion, you won't find a better freshwater fish to fang on. Much more palatable than any trout out there. Please do yourself a favour mate and give it a go

My PB is 40cm, 1.1kg. These were taken a few year ago now.

Last year at Lake Wendouree I pulled this 39 cm reddy trolling a cheap Kmart HB
picked up 9 for the day all over 30 cm and a couple trout



Must do another trip up there again one day

what lure was that mate? might grab some lures for kmart to get some value for my buck to use in snaggy water
