Ill have to go back down, had no luck last time it seems i can only get there when the weather is terrible. I havent been back since the carp cull at coburg, seem to be making the effort for salt water these days but i might have to have a cheeky mid week cull next week

Maybe do a shout-out on the Cull thread, someone may be able to pick you up on the way there :)
A few friendlies around, surely theres a spare seat in someone's car...

If you are using Public transport the lake is 4kms from either Boronia or Ferntree Gully Stations.
Boronia station would be easiest and it is straight down Dorset Rd, would assume there is probably a bus going past even on weekends.

I got a bus straight up the Burwood Hwy! Wasn't too much of a hassle...

Anyway, kind of a double post, but this was my contribution to the East Sub's Carp Cull. I lost a huge one that went for a massive run...I think I have found a spot besides GC to fish. Will definitely consider returning...

Every time I go down to the Creek without a net, this seems to happen! (I hook into a Carp, have difficulties landing it and wonder why I didn't bring the net :doh1: ) And unfortunately my netsman has gone back home to hopefully catch Carp in his country...

Anyway, this one was around the 59/60cm mark and came in at 10lb according to some scales I found in the kitchen, not sure if they're accurate or not, but I guess they wouldn't be too far off...

Was really surprised I got this one as the Creek is still really dirty, but I can't really resist going fishing on such a good day... 8-)

Got these two today. Think the smaller one may be a Goldfish or Goldfish/Carp hybrid as it has no barbels. It Went 44cm.

Nice... GC again? How much do you have to move around to find these or do you just bait up and wait for them to find you?
