went to lake eppaloch last sunday, bagged out on reddies in one hour. trolling in 3-4m of water. great day.

Good to hear you got onto a few mate :thumbsup: I think with the weather we have had this year and the flooding of many rivers that the lakes will be the go this summer.

i have been up a few times now and not been able to locate the reddies to have some fun ..

Five months on from your initial post - try and bag out now!!!! There is no limit now!!! How things change - probably for the better in this case even if I rarely keep them anyway.

tried again at eppalock , fished all day trolling lures 3mtres down and picked up 6 small reddies.
we stopped when we hooked up but could not find the school with flick baits.

other boats were also having no luck .

after four visits will give eppalock a miss for awhile. :sad:

I recently fished there and found green alge still caught a few reds carp but was not game to eat as of alge
