Maybe 7-8 months

Never even knew that park existed, it is sort of tucked away in North Ringwood. Might be worth a go. Only 10 mins from home so won't hurt to give it a crack. Might even get enthuisatic after work tonight, and grab a can of corn and see what happens.

Try both lakes there's one tiny one which is where I caught some smaller carp but there's one larger heavily polluted lake which has a couple of huge carp like 6-7 kg

Gave it three attempts a year or so back and not even a sniff of a bite.
Yes last I checked Blackburn lake was off limits to fishing.
The other three present a chance, but would they be in the top 10 locations?
Let's see what other suggest.
What! you fished Ringwood Lake and never caught anything, Not even a shopping trolley? cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Dusk or dawn may be the best, however you will still get carp any time of the day or night for that matter. The bottom line is, if you only have a few spare hours in the middle of the day, then by all means go. If you have the whole day off and want to spend a few hours out there, go mid arvo and fish until nightfall.

I didn't make it there tonight, the rain kept me away, but will be heading there in the morning to give it a go. If nothing looks like happening there will continue on to the Yarra and keep my fingers crossed.
