As a newbie, went to Gardeners creek for Carp for 2 hours, but no luck... Tried break and corn, no bite.. No sure what's wrong...

Search for C.C. (corn ????) & send him a P.M.
He's a world renowned expert on Gardiner's Creek carp, amongst other spots.

only bubble pop up, no carp .. Maybe got there at wrong time...

Went to Ringwood Lake this afternoon. Caught A 5kg+ Carp..My FIRST carp.. :super:
Got some advice from a guy in the park, I think he is an expert in this area. :notworthy:
Also been advised, carps in Ringwood is not eatable... :down:

carp from anywhere aren't exactly edible, I guess the old antimony mine at Ringwood lake might leach some unpleasant stuff into the water though

Went to Karkarook lake this afternoon.. 8 bloke are fishing there..Someone got a tiny fish..That's all..

Read from internet. Trout and reddies are in Karkarook lake, but not many carps? ...
