Goulburn 9/9/18

Post by abzz » Mon Sep 10, 2018 5:17 pm

After a very disappointing fishing trip to QLD recently it was good to nail some fish.
Fishing the goulburn with light gear and lures.
Farmed fish..**** fish..not real trout..whatever!
I was just happy to go out and catch em...was getting quite desperate  caught 16 in total between 3. Some small some bigger. Most released kept 3. Was better tasting than i thought

Flight was delayed by a day. When we finally got there we were told the long tails came through yesterday (the day we were supposed to be there)
Spun for about 8 hours a day for 3 half days, not even a follow. Fished a few hours at night for some rubbish fish and caught 1 tiny school mackerel on the way back to the airport
Tis still early in the season though
We didn't try for barramundi.
