So your issues not overpopulation it’s non European migration?

I’m not going to debate this all I will say is sports/activities like fishing are enjoyed by people of many racial backgrounds your post would be offensive to some of the fine anglers on this site who may not look like your “fair dinkum Aussie” but are definitely the real deal.
Stuff it. Stop killing foxes, carp, ferral pigs, ferral cats and ferral dogs, there not all bad... its a free country right, lets just sit back and see how long this country lasts.

The focus in Victoria has definitely been on stocking natives in recent times. So a little variety with Tiger Trout in a couple of locations is not the end of the world and gives anglers something different to dream about.

Could not agree more Stumpjumper, one only needs to look back at the excitement that was caused by the intro of Barra to Hazelwood pondage, pity the French shut it down. may just be a different trout hybrid, but they are a pretty fish and one that will appeal, looks wise, to the girls me thinks...

What a great initiative, They should stock Tiger trout in more waterways, I wish they would stock them in my local waterway, variety is the spice of life I say

If we’re going to introduce another non-native predatory fish can we please please introduce American Largemouth bass, now THAT is a sport fish.
If it’s all about money just think of how much that will bring in? Millions I tell ya.

How good would that be in enclosed waterways with zero chance of escapees
