Re: Mill park lake
I measured the carp against my net and took photo of that and measured it when I got home it might not be entirely accurate but the carp was def over 70

Good work champ! what did you get them on?
I live not far from those lakes and have fished them heaps years ago. Heaps of carp and small redfin in all the lakes. I've also caught some big eels!

Re: Mill park lake
Well done mate!
I've seen a few of your posts where you haven't had much success. You've persevered - the key to becoming a good angler - and it has brought you the rewards.
A 40 cm reddie is a good fish these days, particularly out of a suburban lake. When the weather warms up head down to the Yarra to target some other species.
Best Wishes

Re: Mill park lake
Very well done mate! That carp would have given you a good run for your money! Bet the redfin would taste better though

Re: Mill park lake
thanks very much mate. I haven’t had much luck lately and hoping to get better with these local lakes which I have had a lot of trouble to catch inTruedogz wrote:Well done mate!
