A single individual the impact is probably negligible multiple fisherman catching carp would make a difference.

On the notion of carp being returned I am unsure of any difference it would make realistically but for the time being I feel it is best if they are killed and disposed of thoughtfully.

I agree with the above, currently threads that are discussing thought provoking, although contentious, content are being locked prematurely and left as they are. shutting down the conversation for those who were interested in the topic at hand and not actually removing content that isn't in line with forum rules.

Hate the suckers. I don't fish any fresh water anymore I've caught too many in my life already and I'm over them.
Ok so trout & bass & Hazelwood Barra are a possibility but I prefer salt :-D
