Seven Years Bad Luck

Post by Whiskers » Thu Nov 10, 2016 5:26 pm

Hit up a carp spot today to have some fun with the mud marlin.

There was nothing doing for a while until about lunchtime when somebody must have pressed the time to start biting button.

A steady stream of small carp went on the chew, a mixture of commons and mirrors.

Most of the carp were showing battle scars from what must have been some very amorous spawning activity.

I broke quite a few mirrors today so I hope the seven years bad luck theory doesn't apply to fish!
