High country trout report 11/9

After a long closed season, the decision was made to head out for a flick with a mate in what is usually a reasonably small creek; although not so small with the recent rain in the area. We started out flicking some Rapala F5's and various Strike Tiger soft plastics with no result; so the decision was made to switch to the reliable scrub worm. This decision paid off due to the level of the water, and we ended up landing six trout for the few hours of fishing.
Not a bad way to start the 2016 season :thumbsup:

Nah mate we tried unweighted for a start but there was just too much current, we ended up chucking a couple of small split shots on to slow the worms down a bit :a_goodjob:
