Fishing in the murray (tocumwal)

anyone been fishing in Tocumwal lately and if you have would you mind telling me which bait and a good spot?

The vast majority would not know where Toc is. I doubt strongly if any cod fishermen is going to give away their spots.

All the fresh water baits, witchery grubs or bardies, yabbies, shrimp all can be source locally if you know what you are doing.

yeah i normally go go fishing there because i stay in the caravan park, i always catch a cod in the boat, but when i am fishing off bank i am having a bit of trouble.

To be honest I never fished there, but we would travel over the bridge at least 10 times a year. Got some cousins who live locally.

Drew 2 may be able to help. I am not familiar with the area but cod season is now closed so make sure you are not targeting big fish with big lures/bait. Bardie grubs are a traditional 'cod bait' so I wouldn't use it. Wouldn't use cheese either. Is there some place around there that is totally closed to fishing during this period? Definitely check your NSW regs. Shrimp if they have started moving are a great bait for yellas!
