School Holiday Trout Stocking

With school holidays fast approaching the Fisheries dept. will be undertaking another round of stocking a number of lakes with trout.

Hmmm I think a trip to Marysville with the kids will be on the cards these school holidays - and maybe even cal in at Healesville on the way home again

I don't know why they don't release fish in the dark and give them a chance to avoid being eaten by birds...

They'd have to pay their workers overtime if they did that.

Hey Steve, check it out first, I pass it frequently and it,s almost empty at moment,never seen it so low.
Can,t imagine them putting any fish in there unless we have flooding rains over next week.

Really I haven't been past for a while I will give the Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing club a call & see if it's still going to be stocked.
