Burrumbeet Creek carp slaughter!
Reckon I could even get myself a fish here! Very ordinary leaving them on the bank although looks like the council has come to the rescue! Going to be some well fertilised soil there! Check out the link below for the story.

Cornacarpios average haul per year! That's insane
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!

Hope there are a few people up there with landing nets to help the rest of the mud suckers join the rest. Cheers nuzza43.

Yep, the place has been absolutely hammered by people with landing nets, drag nets, pitchforks, someone even took a shotgun down I think...haven't been myself because I don't see the appeal but apparently the ground is now covered in dead fish and the place reeks of rotting carp.muzza43 wrote:Hope there are a few people up there with landing nets to help the rest of the mud suckers join the rest. Bugger that, the place will reek now good to see all the dead carp though, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

" the place has been absolutely hammered by people with landing nets, drag nets, pitchforks " I don't see why people would do that ? what am I missing ? they will die eventually, are they taken to eat or fertilize their gardens ? or just to get them out of the water way ?
