I reckon it's been photoshoped ;-) Jims fish aren't normally that big
Was actually a monster! Just pales into insignificance alongside my stomach! :)

I ended up fishing the channel for about 3 1/2 hours...for the one carp. However, I will persevere with this location weekly now as it should improve as the weather improves. Caught the carp on worms. Next time I go I will take a shrimp net. No doubt it is too cold for them but you never know...may get the odd one as we picked up a couple there last month in nets intended for crays.

Whilst this channel has been flowing for a couple weeks, I could not get over how good a condition it was in...as well as the amount of water going down. Certainly not maximum flow but for this time of the year, a reasonable amount.
cheers
Jim

Great to hear the channels are full and looking good.

I have never Caught a Goldfish before. Plenty of carp HA

Looking forward to the warmer weather coming and the shrimp moving again. They are fantastic bait.
