I would love barra in there, but they would get ripped out of there the same week they are put in, it would have to end up worse than what people do after the trout lake stockings.

It would be good if they made it C&R only on the barra, but I doubt you would be able to police it well enough to spot people exploiting them.

my exact thoughts, would be an incredible fishery if it was C&R only and people stuck with it but unfortunately I don't imagine all will.

It's a pretty big lake, I reckon people would struggle to empty all the barra out of it. Especially if the fish are well fed on all those cichlids, could be hard to tempt.

In any case, that power station was due to be knocked over years ago, even if they do put barra in it I'd say that within 10 years the plant will be shut down and the fish will get cold and die off.

Daniel Andrews was supposed to put 15,000 barra in there.. But it wouldn't be the first time a polly has lied..

In his defence he's initiated everything else he said he'd do with regards to fisheries.

I think they might hold off considering the current moves to close hazelwood i'm guessing the lack of warm water would pretty much f8ck any barra up they put in there if it did close.

Don't hate him waiting to see, otherwise it's an incredible waste of money/resources.

Have 20 tickets a week to fish for barra c and r

Half the anglers wouldnt get near a barra on there turn...be a massive boost for the economy
