Good stuff blokes looks like most people are finding some good early season trout, its great to see a mix of rainbows and browns.

Tough one this weekend working sat then I have to toss up between fishing and the footy. Go Roos.

Had a fantastic day at the Trout opening Festival at Eildon LakesFishing with Jim and Dave, two of the nicest blokes ive met fishing. Thanks to both of you I caught my first trout.The comments by Drew2 and Texas was so funny . Fished the Pondage the next day and did not even get a bite, though I saw a huge brown caught on mudeye. Planning to go to the Coburg Carp Cull on 25 Oct. Hope to see Jim and Dave there. Hope in the meantime, you catch some monster trout. My son has kindly agreed to load some photos Take care Seb
