Thanks DougieK. I've seen some soft plastics at Kmart, they are Berkley soft plastics but I'm not sure which one to buy, any recommendation to me? Thanks.

I found a nearly same one on BCF website just for your reference.

Thanks mate. It is said they can use some "artificial bait", such as bread... :-D

Maybe this or next week I may give it a go just with some soft plastics.

If I got a dollar for every report that 'Lofty' from CA(ringwood) would write, "yellowbelly and trout taken at sugarloaf on worms", I would be a millionaire already....
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..

If breads acceptable I don't see why worms aren't! I used lures first few trips n kept seeing poke with worms so now I use both there as for lures I use soft plastic baitfish 3" grubs and a few vibes and crankbaits! Alot of snags around so pack extras haha

Things must have changed over the last couple of years, my son and I have catch trout on maggots and worms while talking to the ranger.

Hi Guys

Just wondering if Sugarloaf is still a decent options for fishing (2016) i can see a lot of these posts are quite old.
Is it still a Lures only lake? or is that not really policed?

Cheers
