Hahaha, I reckon he would... Id give anything new a go once, but as off now, nope. Someone should post how this is meant to be done or at least make a record of proven recipes.

You guys don't know how to cook them!!!!!
I love eating carp.m

The way I do it is drain the blood, cover with curry powder, black pepper, salt, fresh lemon squeezed all over, slice lemons and place on top, slice tomato, place on top, slice onion and same thing.

Put over a fire grill and cook.

They taste Bloody good!!!

Also home made chilli sauce spread on top.

Also forgot to add, open the fish from the back. Leave the head and fins on.
Spread it open and follow above steps.

thought I might add the best recipe for cooking carp from another source.

Place fillets in a large saucepan with 2 bricks and enough water to cover the bricks. Bring to the boil, simmer for 20 mins till the brick is tender.
Throw away carp and eat the brick.

best recipe for carp,cut in half,tie in the bottom of cray net,drop in murray water and exchange for crayfish.only when in season thou.

My dads mate used to eat carp in sushi .
